Keith and Joy move to new house after more than 40 years in previous house

After living in the same house in Embleton, Perth WA, for over 40 years, Keith and Joy Spencer have moved into their home in a new Estate in Erskine, Mandurah WA called “Natures Walk” which is being marketed by 4Land Property Group.4Land Property Group's Dave Gillon presenting Keith and Joy with a welcome gift

According to Keith,  he and his wife Joy had lived in their one and only home in Embleton for 40 years and following their recent retirement took the opportunity  to have a sea change and move to a new home in the Mandurah region.

“After living in the same house for more than 40 years, we were very selective in choosing a new house and the area we wanted to live in!

“We are both retired and in our sixties. After visiting many new housing developments throughout the metropolitan area we finally settled on buying a house and land package at Natures Walk in Erskine.

“The initial reason for visiting Natures Walk was based upon the recommendation of long time friends who themselves have also built and moved into a home in the Estate.

“After we visited the development, we found it was exactly what we wanted.  The Estate is located in a secluded part of Erskine with easy access to all of the nature attractions of the area.  It  adjoins the Len Howard Reserve which is directly beside the Peel inlet and it is only minutes from the beach and the heart of Mandurah which is well provided with essential services and facilities for older Australians.

“More importantly, Natures Walk is attracting a large number of property buyers of similar age to ourselves  who want to move to a lifestyle development but still prefer  the independence of owning their own property. We feel very comfortable living with neighbours who are also in or near their retirement years.

“We have been delighted with our move to this wonderful development and the assistance  we received from Impressions Homes who constructed our home in Stage 2 of the development.

“Impressions Homes, which is building the house and land packages at the Estate, was able to devise a plan for our home which accommodated our special needs such as housing our caravan. Overall we are delighted with the quality and standard of the house they constructed,” he said.

Dave Gillon, Project Sales Manager  4Land Property Group, said that the Natures Walk Estate was attracting many buyers in the age group of Keith and Joy Spencer because of its location and the opportunity to be involved in the house design.

“More than 90% of people buying lots in the Estate are retirees or people wanting to down size or who are approaching retirement.

“4Land Property Group has now released three stages in the Estate – Stages 1, 2 and 4 with the latest stage consisting of 16 lots of which 5 have already sold.

“Prices for  house and land packages in Stage 4 range from $319,905 to $377,000. The lot sizes are easy to maintain and vary in size from 287sqm to 379sqm. There are only a few lots left for sale in Stages 1 and 2 varying in size from 343sqm to 376sqm with prices ranging from $299,905 to $353,000 depending on the size of home and level of finish.

“4Land has received positive feedback from buyers who, like the Spencer’s, have been very happy with the standard of homes being constructed by Impressions Homes. These homes are constructed to a premium standard.

“In particular, buyers are pleased that these high quality homes are completed to a turn key standard meaning that all the hard work is done before the residents move in, leaving them to enjoy the tranquil surrounds. For example, the homes include air conditioning, security system, landscaping, cooking appliances and even a clothes line and letter box.

“Stages 3 and 5 at Natures Walk are expected to be released during the coming year and when fully completed the Estate will have 91 homes,” he said.

Natures Walk Estate is located at the corner of Oakleigh Drive and Willoughbridge Crescent, Erskine, Mandurah WA.
